Divyanka Tripathi broke a million hearts after she secretly exchanged rings with her "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" co-star Vivek Dahiya on Jan. 15. The newly-engaged couple is set to take the plunge anytime this year.
Confirming the news, the leading lady said both their parents are deciding on the date, adding that nothing has been fixed as yet. "I want my wedding in a very traditional manner with selected friends and relatives. I can only say that I will get married this year," she told Absolute India News.
Marriage is a big step and yet these two didn't take much time deciding what they wanted from their blossoming relationship. It was on their third date that they realised they were made for each other. Calling the relationship a "fairytale", Tripathi said Dahiya is a calming factor in her life and is an extremely sorted person. "The best thing about him is that he believes in the institution of marriage and he respects and values everything in life," she added.
The TV actor may have charmed his lady but that doesn't excuse him from coming up with a Valentine's Day surprise. Talking about the special day, Tripathi said she is waiting for Dahiya to surprise her. "Valentine's Day is for loved ones and I like to celebrate it with my parents as well. Now, I am waiting for something special from Vivek this valentine."
On the professional front, the lovebirds have been approached for "Nach Baliye 8". They haven't signed the dotted line yet, as it'll require them to juggle it with their TV show, which could get taxing. However, if everything works out well, the dance reality show may see the two matching steps.
