Television actress Mihika Varma, who plays the role of Mihika in popular show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," is reportedly planning to quit the show. According to reports, with the show taking a seven-year leap, Mihika was reluctant on ageing on-screen and hence she chose to take the exit route.
"The show recently took a seven-year leap and while most of the important characters have stayed back, Mihika said that she doesn't want to age on-screen. She has put in her papers and the makers have already started looking for her replacement," a source told the Times of India.
Although the makers have not confirmed the news yet, if the reports of Mihika quitting the show turn out to be true, the gorgeous actress' fans will surely be disappointed.
Meanwhile, post-leap, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" has been revolving around Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi), who now lives in Australia along with her childhood friend Mani (Sumeet Sachdev) and his niece Aaliya (Krishna Mukherjee).
On the other hand, Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita's surrogate child Pihu (Ruhaanika Dhawan) has grown up to look exactly like Ruhi. The father and daughter duo lives with the entire Bhalla family in Delhi. Also, Ruhi, who lives with Nidhi (Pavitra Punia), has grown up to be a tomboyish teenager and a successful musician. Nidhi renamed Ruhi as Ruhaan.
It has been reported that the viewers will be treated to another twist in the upcoming episodes when Mani will propose Ishita. "Mani's niece Aaliya (Krishna Mukherjee) would urge him to confess his feelings to Ishita. He would initially refuse to do so. However, Aaliya would instigate him into proposing. Just when he would be about to utter the three magical words, Aaliya would arrive. Instead of proposing, Mani would end up praising Ishita," a source told Tellychakkar.com.
