TV star Karan Patel may be convinced that the ghost drama in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" has given the show its much-needed TRP ratings, but the audience and, from the looks of it, a few cast members are not too upbeat about the ongoing track.
An India-Forums report suggests Karan's on-screen sister Simmi aka Shireen Mirza has put down her papers and will shoot her last scene for the show around mid-December.
"Shireen has already put the papers down and she will be shoot her last with the show on 13th December. She is not satisfied with the way her character is shaping up on the show and seeing no variations in her character on this show, she is thinking to quit the show and try out doing something new," the web portal quoted an insider as saying.
The source also added the makers have to take a call on it and it's only after a discussion that a decision will be taken.
Meanwhile, Shahnaz Rizwan -- who plays Karan's on-screen mother Mrs. Bhalla -- has been thinking of quitting the show too. Apparently, she is being called to the sets and made to wait for longer than usual.
"The show is aired seven days a week, so she is called on sets and made to wait hours on end to shoot just one scene featuring her. The actress is contemplating quitting and returning to her home in London," a source informed The Asian Age.
In other news, Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Shagun's (Anita Hassanandani) elaborate plans to unmask Ashok (Sangram Singh) is out in the open. In the upcoming episodes, Ashok will be shown walking in on the duo's secret conversation. The question is will he expose them to the Bhalla family?
