Hit daily soap "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" is set to take a leap, and there have been conjectures that the upcoming episodes will offer its viewers a major twist.
Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita Bhalla (Divyanka Tripathi), who are gearing up for intimate moments on the show, will apparently part ways.
ABP live writes that there have been reports suggesting Ishita's impending doom. Word has it, the protagonist in question will be diagnosed with last stage tuberculosis, after which she will peel herself away from Raman, making room for his estranged wife Shagun (Anita Hassanandani).
However, the husband and his family will be made to believe Ishita moved to Australia with ex-lover Subbu (Amit Tandon).
The leap may be an effort to infuse freshness into the script, but Divyanka is decidedly unhappy about it. Talking to The Asian Age about the change, she said the idea of playing mother to grown-up kids doesn't make her comfortable adding her fans wouldn't want to see her sport grey hair.
"...But as an actor any character will enchant me if I feel comfortable playing that particular character. I do not know what's in store for this character so I am unable to tell you further about my look or role," she further elaborated.
In other news, for the romantic scenes Divyanka has reportedly set a bunch of strict rules. Apparently, she said she wouldn't agree to such sequences until her requirements aren't met.
"She has asked the production house that there should be minimal people on the sets and that the costumes for the scene should be of her choice. She wants the scene to look aesthetic and not vulgar in any way," The Times of India quoted her as saying.
