Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" recently shot a risky scene where she had to jump off a cliff. Also in an upcoming episodes, the actress will be seen diving into water to save Anita Hassanandani aka Shagun from drowning.
According to the reports, both the sequences were shot in real locations. While jumping off the cliff was shot in Vasai in Mumbai, the underwater sequence was shot under professional scuba divers' supervision.
The gorgeous actress, a passionate mountaineer, has revealed that she enjoyed shooting the action sequences despite being draped in a sari.
"I have done some action sequences in saris that now I know how to manage both and carry on. Jumping off the cliff or diving under water both have been a phenomenal experience for me. Thanks to this role and style of Ishita, I'm comfortable wearing saris and won't mind wearing them every day," said Divyanka in a statement, reported IANS.
Interestingly, these high-end dramatic sequences were directed by Bollywood cinematographer Mahesh Limaye, who had worked in Salman Khan starrer "Dabangg".
"Shooting experience was fantastic. I never thought television too will take high-end drama and action sequences seriously and will be willing to spend that kind of money and quality on this. And shooting with Divyanka and Anita, I was amazed at their sportsmanship as both of them are non-swimmers," said Limaye.
