Now that Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel's "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" has completed 400 episodes, it can be safely tagged as one of the most popular daily soaps of current times.
Divyanka aka Ishita posted a team selfie on Instagram celebrating the milestone. Karan, Aly Goni, Abhay Bhargava and others posed for the photo. And the heart-warming picture stems from an infectious chemistry the cast shares with one another.
"Whenever the whole family is together on the set we are one crazy gang. Then nobody can handle us. All of us gossip. Boys, girls, bade chote everyone chats and gossip. When it comes to scene then we all become professionals but other than that we go crazy," Deccan Chronicle quoted Divyanka as saying.
Meanwhile, Karan said he hangs out with the boys in his vanity van adding that they like to make the work look like fun. "Every day is crazy for us. My boy gang and me usually hangout in my vanity and have a blast. We sing, we laugh. We make our work place a fun place."
The show is a hit, yes, but what's attracts the audience more is the lead pair. They have been given nicknames – Divan and Ishra – and have a strong fan following. A few days ago, a girl travelled all the way from Ahmedabad to meet Divyanka but when she was refused entry by security for 5 hours straight, the actress stepped out to hug her.
"Recently only there were fans who had come from Rajasthan. They were ' Ishra' fans . So they came and met Divyanka and left. Later I got to know they were too scared to come and talk to me or pose with me for a picture," Karan revealed.
