"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" is gearing up for a 10-year leap and Divyanka Tripathi (Ishita) has, in all probability, begun shooting.
The actress shared a few photos of her getting makeup done from Colombo, Sri Lanka.
While it's too early to say if the TV star is in the neighbouring country to shoot for the post-leap sequence, few months ago there were reports of Ishita leaving the Bhallas to settle with Subbu (Amit Tandon) in Australia.
The leap was scheduled to take place sometime in June but the makers postponed it. And now it looks like they are finally ready to take the plunge.
"The casting began from yesterday and by end of the next month, the plot will finally see a leap in time. With the leap (told to be of approx 10 years), a lot will change in the serial. From new faces to new relationships, a plethora of changes will be seen," an insider informed Tellychakkar.
In the photos, Divyanka looks thrilled to kick-start work but initially she was not too pleased with the show taking the leap. "Playing mother to grown-up kids does not allure me much. I will not feel comfortable. Also, my fans will not like me with grey hair. The story is yet to be written but at the moment I am not ready to play an elderly person... We have not discussed about the forthcoming episodes," she told The Asian Age.
