Ever since "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" couple Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya got engaged in a hush-hush ceremony in January, speculations regarding their wedding date has been doing the rounds.
Even as there were reports that the couple would tie the knot this year, Divyanka recently confirmed that she and Vivek will get married in July. The actress shared an article link on her Twitter handle, confirming the news.
"Divyanka confirmed to me July date, both the families are apparently finalizing a date. They seem very much in love. She deserve her fair share of happiness," according to a statement from Telly Tadka.
Earlier, Vivek had told Tellychakkar.com that they were likely to get married in July this year. However, if not in July, they will definitely tie the knot in November. "Our parents have yet not decided a date, so I cannot confirm anything. But yes, if not July, we are definitely getting married in November (sic)," he had said.
Also, there were reports that the lovebirds were planning an elaborate Hindu traditional wedding, which will be held either in Chandigarh or Bhopal. As for their television friends, both Divyanka and Vivek have planned to host a grand reception in Mumbai soon after the wedding.
"We haven't zeroed that down yet. We are still working on the possible dates. It's considerably hot in Chandigarh during July. We have to check our conveniences as well. The practicalities have to be worked out for us to take a long leave, we will have to give about three to four months' notice. When we shoot every day, it becomes difficult for them (makers of the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein) and we will have to shoot and keep a bank of episodes," the actor had told Tellychakkar.com.
Meanwhile, some reports said that Divyanka and Vivek had been approached to participate in the eighth edition of the celebrity dance reality show "Nach Baliye." However, the couple is yet to decide on it.
