The teams of Star Plus' "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" and Life OK's "Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant" have a reason to rejoice. Both Ekta Kapoor shows are leading in their respective channels. And to celebrate the success, Sweety Walia, who is a part of both "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" and "Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant," hosted a house party for the cast of the shows recently.
"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actor Karan Patel and wife Ankita Bhargava (Ankita Karan Patel), and "Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant" actress Vahbiz Dorabjee and her husband Vivian Dsena were among the guests who attended the bash.
"The kickass party went on till morning. Along with Aamir Jaffer (writer) many of our friends joined in for the celebration. Apart from drinks and food we enjoyed the party with a fun singing session. I am very happy that both my shows are doing well," Sweety told Tellychakkar.com.
Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," who bonds with the team of "Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant" quite well, couldn't make it to the party. Divyanka was seen in a cameo in the opening episode of "Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant," which went on air in February. Anita Hassanandani aka Shagun had also made an appearance during the grand wedding of the show's lead characters, Shaan (played by Karan V Grover) and Rajni (played by Ridhima Pandit).
Meanwhile, on "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," after several hit-and-miss moments between Raman Bhalla (Karan) and Ishita, the makers finally brought the two face to face in the recent episodes. It now remains to be seen how Raman and Ishita will reunite.
On the other hand, "Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant" actor Grover, who was rumoured to exit the show because of his Bollywood film, is reportedly not quitting. According to latest reports, Grover will continue shooting for both the daily soap as well as the film.
