In the upcoming episodes, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" viewers may witness an interesting addition to the show's cast.
According to a Tellychakkar report, Shagun aka Anita Hassanandani will romance off-screen ex-lover Eijaz Khan on the show.
"Eijaz is being approached for the doctor's role and both will be paired together, and help Raman Bhalla (portrayed by Karan Patel) and his wife Ishita (played by Divyanka Tripathi) to overcome the complications with their baby," a source told the popular web portal.
This piece of news is contrary to what The Times of India had reported recently. Apparently, Manoj Chandila was approached and finalised for the role.
"It's a four-month track and Manoj will play a positive character. Several actors were considered for the part, but Manoj has a long association with the production house and hence, he has been finalised for the role," the leading daily quoted an insider as saying.
In other news, the lined-up episodes will see Raman and Ishita breaking the big news to the Bhalla family, but only after Romi (Aly Goni) and Sarika's wedding.
Meanwhile, the current track shows Rinki perplexed and upset about the property being transferred through will to Ishita and not Mihir (Raj Singh Arora).
