'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein:' Alia to be a victim of acid attack; will she recover from the horrific incident?

Viewers of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" will soon witness a high voltage drama in the love triangle between Mihir (Raj Singh Arora), Alia (Krishna Mukherjee) and Adi (Abhishek Verma). The show-makers are said to have decided to highlight the issue of acid attacks in the recent times by incorporating a track based on it in the storyline.

In the upcoming episodes, Adi, who is depressed after being rejected in love by Alia, will decide to take revenge from her.

Soon after this, Alia will be seen as a victim of acid attack after a masked man throws acid on her while she is out on road. A shocked Alia screams in pain until some passersby rush her to the hospital.

"Aaliya will be out for some work when a masked person would throw acid on her. Aaliya shocked with the happening will be left writhing in pain on the roads. Some passersby would help her and take her to the hospital," a source told Tellychakkar.com.

Adi will be blamed and subsequently arrested for the attack. It remains to be seen if Adi is the culprit. If not, who had a secret grudge on Alia? Also, will Alia recover from the horrific incident? 

Meanwhile, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," which had figured in the top three most-watched TV shows until recently, has been witnessing a considerable drop in its rating. The never-ending troubles between the lead pair Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) seem to have been affecting the ratings of the show.

However, the upcoming acid attack track is expected to work in favour of the show and its TRPs.
