The makers of Star Plus' "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" have introduced a high-voltage drama, with Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) accidentally killing Chaddha (Lalit Bisht) while trying to save his wife from him.
Earlier, reports had stated that Ishita would be arrested and convicted of the murder, while still dealing with the shock of having murdered someone. And, in order to save her from the punishment, a desperate Raman (Karan Patel) will hire a lawyer.
TV actress Pavitra Punia has been roped in to play Nidhi Chabbra, a high-profile advocate. Nidhi is Raman's childhood friend and her entry will bring a major twist in the show.
In return for taking up Ishita's case and saving her from getting punished, Nidhi will ask Raman to marry her. With no other option left, Raman will tie the knot with Nidhi and separate from Ishita forever.
After Raman and Ishita's separation, their child Ruhi's (Ruhaanika Dhawan) life may also be in danger. According to a report in Telly Chakkar, during the Republic Day celebrations, Ashok (Sangram Singh) will try to murder Ruhi in order to create havoc in Ishita-Raman's life.
Sangram will attach a bomb to Ruhi's costume but to everyone's relief, ACP Abhishek (Vivek Dahiya) will arrange an elaborate rescue mission and save her.
