The "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" team is a true blue family when not working. On Mother's Day (10 May, Sunday), the talented cast got together to celebrate the special day with their mommies.
Divyanka Tripathi shared a few moments on Instagram writing, "On screen n offscreen Moms n our babies." Meanwhile, Anita Hassanandani posted pictures with her mother on the special day.
"We all love our mothers dearly but at the same time we all take our mothers for granted. We love them, respect them, care for them but in the day-to-day life we forget to acknowledge and appreciate her efforts and sacrifices. So, I think this is the perfect day when they need to be told how dearly we love them and owe our happiness to them," she told IANS ahead of Mother's Day.
In other news, Divyanka's mother Neelam Tripathi has been living with her ever since she fractured her leg in early March. The plaster made regular household chores seem difficult and there was a time when making a cup of tea would appear to be a herculean task for the actress.
"Since the past few days, even if I made a cup of tea for myself half of it would spill on the floor, as I hopped on one leg from the kitchen to the hall. If I tried moving on the wheelchair, I would get stuck somewhere. Today after a long time I enjoyed fruit salad, prepared by mom," Deccan Chronicle quoted the actress as saying earlier.
Divyanka, however, has managed to work despite injury, thanks to her production team who had incorporated wheelchair into the script so she could play her portions well. The plaster was recently removed.
