The television show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" will be shot sans its glamorous negative character for a while. Pavitra Punia, who plays the negative role of Nidhi Chabbra in the series, was recently admitted to the hospital after she complained of severe stomach ache. The actress has now taken a three-week break from her hectic shoot schedule to recover from the illness.
"I am allergic to prawns. But I ate it by mistake. It generated heat in my body due to which I was suffering from severe stomach ache for the past week," Pavitra told Tellychakkar.com. "My doctors have asked me to get hospitalised to keep me on observation for a day. I have already taken 20 days leave from shoot to get well," she added.
Recent reports had begun hinting at Pavitra's plans to get married this year to her fiancé, businessman Sumeet Maheshwari, whom she got engaged to in October 2015. Pavitra and Sumeet met at a Reiki course in Amby Valley, Maharashtra. The two became friends after they were introduced to each other by common pals, and started dating after a brief period of friendship.
"Yes, I am engaged to Sumeet. I had met him in Amby Valley through a common friend, where I had gone for Reiki. I absolutely loved the place and fell in love with him there," Pavitra had told India Forums.
Meanwhile on "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," Nidhi is leaving no stone unturned to wreck havoc in the lives of Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka). It has been reported that in the upcoming episodes, Shagun (Anita Hassanandani), the surrogate mother of Raman and Ishita's child, will deliver the baby prematurely. However, the family's happiness will be short-lived as Nidhi plans to kidnap the baby in order to get what she wants.
