"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress Divyanka Tripathi may have moved on in life, but her breakup with Ssharad Malhotra has left a strong impact on her.
The TV star says she is a little sceptical about people now. "In relationships, you can't decide (your partner's) profession. He could be from any walk of life. Right now, I am slightly sceptical of actors, but I believe in never say never," HT Cafe (of July 23) quoted her as saying.
But, the split hasn't changed her thoughts on love and she continues to identify herself as a hardcore romantic. Talking to the leading daily, Divyanka says she is waiting for the right person, someone who wants her, and this seems like the right thing to do.
"When I broke up, my parents became hyper, and asked if they could look for a marriage proposal for me. But with time, they have come to accept things. I don't want to jump into marriage right now. I want to find a person who wants me. I am single, and ready to mingle," she added.
The leading lady further said how the link-up rumours with a Chinese restaurateur are untrue and that he was just a friend. Divyanka, who did not have many friends before, is now spending most of her time making new ones.
"They might have come up, as he is part of my friends circle, and we hang out often. I would not like his name to be dragged into a link-up. He's a good friend," she pointed out.
