Popular television actress Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, along with her husband and actor Vivek Dahiya and her on-screen daughter Ruhaanika Dhawan, recently offered prayers at Ajmer Sharif Dargah.
The trio were in Ajmer, Rajasthan, to attend a dandiya night. "I am happy to have visited the shrine; I feel blessed. This was my first visit to Ajmer after the wedding and anything you do for the first time as a couple becomes memorable," Divyanka told the Times of India.
She added: "It is said that whatever you ask for in Ajmer Sharif, you get it. I think Vivek didn't ask for anything. But my list was endless," she said.
Vivek, on the other hand, said that it was beautiful to see people from different places coming together to offer their prayer at one place. He added that he just expressed his gratitude to the Almighty. "It was beautiful to see such a huge crowd, with people coming from all walks of life, praying at one place. Even though I've heard that Ajmer Sharif makes everyone's wish come true, I chose to just express my gratitude for everything that is precious to me," he said.
Divyanka and Vivek, who met on the sets of the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Bhopal on July 8, followed by a reception in Vivek's hometown Chandigarh and a post-wedding party for their friends from the industry. Several pictures and videos from the wedding had surfaced online. In August, the couple had flown down to Udaipur for honeymoon.
