Of late, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" lead actor Divyanka Tripathi has been in the news mostly because of her on-screen and off-screen issues.
After breaking up with her boyfriend of seven years - Ssharad Malhotra - the actress has been dealing with her health issues. She recently fainted on the sets of the show due to food poisoning and thereafter injured herself while rehearsing for an event, which resulted in a fractured foot.
But Divyanka remains strong and hasn't let her recent setbacks affect her show.
In an interview with The Times of India, Divyanka opened up about how she is coping with the break-up and managing things by herself. The actress also went on to mention that she is "looking forward to a new beginning."
"When you've been with someone for seven years, you feel you won't be able to do anything without them. But while coping with these small mishaps happening with me (fainting on the set and a minor accident on stage), I have realised that it is not all that hard. I live alone in the city and my parents live in Bhopal. I am also a self-made woman. We (women) should learn to respect ourselves more and live an independent life. I am looking forward to a new beginning. It feels good when you learn to move on in life." she told the daily.
There were also reports that the reason for the couple's break-up was Malhotra's growing fondness with Rachna Parulkar.
When asked about the same, Divyanka rubbished such reports and claimed it to be rumour.
Currently, the show focuses on her on-screen character Ishita, who is battling with legal issues over her (on-screen) daughter Ruhi's custody and at such an important juncture, the actress doesn't want the show as well as others associated with it get affected because of her.
