Anita Hassanandani, who plays the role of Shagun in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," will soon turn a designer. On the occasion of the actress' 35th birthday (April 14), her husband Rohit Reddy has bought shares of a start-up company as her birthday gift. The actress will design bags for the portal.
"I am excited to be part of this business venture. Rohit feels I have good taste, and this venture should work for the both of us. This was an unexpected gift. I am very happy about it," Anita told Hindustan Times.
Talking about the importance of being financially secure, the actress said that since the entertainment industry does not offer that security, every actor should have an alternate plan in life. "The entertainment industry isn't secure. If you fail to make a mark, you might not get good work later. So, it is important for every actor to have a plan B to bank on. Here, nothing lasts forever. That's why my husband pushes me to do different things in life," she said.
Anita also said she and Rohit love to surprise each other on birthdays. "Rohit and I give surprises to each other on our birthdays, and I am sure he has something special lined up for me this year too," she added.
Meanwhile, post the leap in the plot, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" has been revolving around Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi), who now lives in Australia along with her childhood friend Mani (Sumeet Sachdev) and his niece Aaliya (Krishna Mukherjee).
