Here's exciting news for fans of television actress Anita Hassanandani. Anita, who plays Shagun on popular show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," has reportedly been approached to play the lead in a new show, which will be aired on &TV.
According to a TellyChakkar.com report, the show is a unique love story and will revolve around a boy who falls in love with a girl older than him. Anita will reportedly be seen opposite newcomer and model Tushar Khanna.
The "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress is apparently in talks with the makers and is yet to sign the deal. "Anita is presently in talks with the channel for the show. However, nothing is yet confirmed on paper, [sic]" a source told the web-portal. However, Anita refuted the rumours. "No, there is nothing like this," she said.
Interestingly, Anita was in news last month when reports of the actress exiting "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" surfaced. The report had stated that the actress had bagged another daily soap.
Meanwhile, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actor Aly Goni will soon be seen in a negative role in Ekta Kapoor's "Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum."
In other news, Anita recently took her fans by surprise when rumours of a cold war between the actress and her "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" co-star Karan Patel due to the celebrity cricket tournament "Box Cricket League 2" (BCL 2) surfaced.
Apparently, Anita, who is a part of Chandigarh Cubs, was miffed with team member Karan due to his constant absence from the practice sessions. However, both actors took to their Twitter handles to deny the reports.
