Sangram Singh, who plays the role of Ashok Khanna in Star Plus' Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, got married on Wednesday, December 20.
The actor tied the knot with fiancé Gurkiran Kaur in Jalandhar, Punjab, in the presence of his family, relatives and a few friends.
Sangram's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-actor Aly Goni aka Romi was also one of the attendees and shared a few pictures from the ceremony. In the picture, the groom can be seen sporting a sherwani and a pagdi (turban), while Gurkiran wore a Punjabi suit with heavy jewellery. Another Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Krishna Mukherjee had also flown down to attend the wedding.
A day before the wedding, Sangram threw a cocktail bash for friends and family where everyone was seen showcasing their desi moves. Several videos and pictures shared on social media, prove that Sangram and Gurkiran had a great time.
In November 2017 Sangram secretly got engaged and it was only when he shared the news on social media that fans came to know about it. In fact, Sangram's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-stars had no idea about the engagement and expressed their shock at the news on social media.
Meanwhile, the makers of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein have included a major twist in the storyline, wherein Divyanka's character Ishita dies. With the twist, producer Ekta Kapoor plans to bring in some new faces to add some freshness to the long-running series. The track will see Ishita ending her life while trying to rescue her daughter Pihu (Ruhaanika Dhawan), who has been kidnapped by goons.
