Of late, Karan Patel of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" has been in news mostly because of his wedding to TV actress Ankita Bhargava and his association with "Nach Baliye 7".
There were also speculations that Karan, who has turned out to be viewers' favourite in the popular daily soap, is quitting the show because of the channel's another venture "Nach Baliye 7".
However, putting an end to the speculations, it has now been revealed that the heartthrob will return to the show soon after the reality show ends.
According to a report by Telly Chakkar, Karan will be busy for the next few weeks with "Nach Baliye 7" along with Rithvik Dhanjani. Further, he will be spending some quality time with his wife and actress Ankita Bhargava before joining the team of "Yeh Hai Mohabatein".
"Karan will be away but he will return in the show for sure after a hiatus," a source told the leading web portal.
Karan and Ankita are gearing up for their grand wedding on 3 May. While the couple got engaged at a hush-hush roka ceremony recently, the pre-wedding ceremonies will be a lavish one with sangeet, Mehendi and pheras followed by a grand reception.
Meanwhile, in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein", the makers have brought in a new twist by introducing a new man in Ishita's (Divyanka Tripathi) life, who is believed to have been roped in to divert the attention of viewers in Karan's absence.
The new member in the show is Amit Tondon, who plays the role of Subbu. Amit's character in the show will apparently create a rift in Ishita and Raman's relationship.
