Ekta Kapoor's new show "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan", which went on air on 28 September, will soon see two major replacement in its cast.
Aly Goni, who plays the role of Romi in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein", and popular TV actress Asha Negi have been roped in to play the lead couple, replacing Shritama Mukherjee and Vibhav Roy.
According to reports, the makers decided to replace Shritama and Vivbhav after the show failed to generate the desired TRPs.
When asked about the replacement, Shritama told The Times of India: "Yes, there are certain issues and nothing is clear at the moment. Whatever the decision is, I won't be disheartened because I have worked hard for this show. I believe every artiste should be given some time to connect with the audience."
A source said: "Though Asha is confirmed for the show, she will be signing on the dotted line soon."
Aly took to his Instagram account to thank the makers and assured his fans he would give his best on the show.
"Finally shukar Allah ka... Thanku so much @ekmainaurektu7 @niveditabasu .... And thanku so much to all my fans and my well wishers please keep supporting.. What ever i m today it's all because of u guys and ur prayers and ur support I love u guys soo soo much.. And I promise I will give my best and will make my fans proud bas keep supporting .. With Aly bagging the lead role in "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan", it looks like he will exit Yeh Hai Mohabbatein", where he played lead actor Karan Patel's younger brother.
