In other news, the "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actor was roped in to play the lead in Ekta Kapoor's "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan," replacing Vibhav Roy. The makers reportedly took the decision to replace the lead as the show failed to generate the desired TRPs. However, despite the major cast replacement and plot change, the show's ratings didn't improve, forcing the makers to pull the plug in January this year.
