Yami Gautam and Hrithik Roshan are set to make their first appearance on the big screen with "Kaabil." The actress had already expressed her excitement on Twitter earlier when she was roped in opposite the superstar and now, she has revealed her experience of working with him.
Yami exclusively told International Business Times India that her experience was amazing on the sets of "Kaabil." "It was amazing. There's a reason he (Hrithik) is such a big star, he doesn't take his stardom for granted. He works so hard on his character and not just his character, he suggests me as well. He likes to experiment with the scenes," Yami told IBT.
Earlier, it had been reported that many A-listed actresses like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Parineeti Chopra rejected the offer because of the female lead's screen timing in the flick. In "Kaabil," Yami's character will be dead before the interval.
Scheduled to be released on Jan. 26 next year, the film will be helmed by Sanjay Gupta and may feature Sasha Agha in a key role. In "Kaabil," the handsome hunk gets to play a visually-impaired man on the hunt for his girlfriend's rapists and murderers. In fact, Yami, who plays Hrithik's character's girlfriend, will essay the role of a visually-impaired person.
When IBT asked whether it was challenging to play a blind character, she said: "It's very challenging. It happened for the first time that both the lead actors are visually impaired. It comes with lot of hard work and homework."
It is said that Yami has been signed for the movie due to her pretty eyes. The makers apparently wanted an actress with beautiful eyes to play a visually-impaired girl's character. As Yami has quite sharp features, her eyes sealed the deal for her. Fans are eagerly waiting to see the fresh pair on the silver screen.
