Yamaha Motor India has introduced two new colour shades for its much popular bike Yamaha R15 Version 2.0, ahead of Holi festival in India.
The two new colours 'GP Blue' and 'Streaking Cyan' are now available at Yamaha's dealerships across the country with a price slightly higher than the regular variants.
While the regular variants of Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 Racing Blue and Invincible Black are priced at ₹1,10,003, and Grid Gold at ₹1,12,924, the new variants will be available for ₹1,17,260 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Mechanically, Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 remains unchanged and continues to draw power from the dame 150cc liquid cooled 4 valve engine that can churn out 16.7bhp of power and 15 Nm of torque. The engine comes coupled to a six speed gearbox.
" While the core concept of R15 remains the same, with these new colours we strive to continuously interact and excite our target audiences. As we launch the R15 Ver 2.0 in 2 new avatars, we are again very confident that this new introduction will help to keep our target audiences absolutely delighted," Indian Autos Blog quoted Roy Kurian, vice-president, sales & marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales, as saying.
Yamaha is expected to launch a new model of the bike in India later this year.
