Even though Anushka Sharma has said Shah Rukh Khan is not her back-slapping buddy, they share quite a friendly rapport. On ZEE TV's Yaaron Ki Baarat, hosted by Sajid Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, the stars opened up on their experience of working with each other and friendship. The episode will be telecast on November 13, Sunday, 8 pm onwards.
Khan said he is fond of Sharma because she hardly ever gossips and therefore finds it easy to confide in her. The superstar has shared quite a bit about his personal and work life with her.
Talking about the times they worked together on Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Khan revealed that Sharma had said: "Please haan, you're not a very good actor." And it was that moment on that he realised that he should be friends with her.
Meanwhile, Sharma recalled the first time she met Khan. It was at a fashion show and the superstar had turned up wearing a splashy cologne with his Om Shanti Om team. "She then went on to become his leading lady in as many as three films, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and now The Ring, admitting she hadn't imagined this journey even in her wildest dreams," a source told Mumbai Mirror.
When asked if she would like to change anything about SRK, Sharma said that he pushes himself too hard and that results in injuries that refuse to heal. Khan, on the other hand, joked that Sharma shouldn't be punctual so that he gets to arrive on sets late without feeling any guilt.
Sharma and Khan have wrapped up first schedule of Imtiaz Ali's The Ring. The cast and crew will begin the next leg by November end in Punjab.
