It has been noted that the much-anticipated Sony smartphone, Xperia Z1 mini, has been officially launched in Japan and will be headed to Japanese network carrier Docomo.
The dates for its worldwide release is still under wraps, reports suggest that the handset would hit shelves soon.
Sony Xperia mini shares most of its specifications from its elder sibling, Xperia Z1. The smartphone targets users who prefer to buy a smaller device but is equally powerful under-the-hood, reports Android Authority.
One of the most competitive rivals for Xperia Z1 mini is tipped to be Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, which is the smaller version of Samsung's flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone. Some of the specifications of both handsets are compared below:
