Indian smartphone maker Xolo is reportedly prepping to launch the country's first 4G-LTE handset in the subcontinent early next month.

Technology website GSMArena citing a source has claimed that Xolo would unveil a 4G-LTE phone, codenamed LT900, in the first week of November.

The tipster has also leaked the press shot as well as few key features of Xolo's forthcoming smartphone. It reportedly sports a 4.3-inch IPS HD (1280x720p) display with pixel density of 341 ppi (pixels per inch), 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and an 8.0-megapixel camera on the rear side with Dual-LED flash.[To view the snapshot Xolo LT 900,Click Here ]

Adding weight to the rumour, AndroidOS.in has spotted the same Xolo 4G LT900 smartphone at benchmark scoring website GFXBench, bearing the same specifications.

The new revelations comes just days after the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) granted Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio Infocom Ltd unified telecom license to offer voice telephony and high-speed internet service (including 4G network) to all 22 circles across India.

Airtel is the only other network carrier in the subcontinent to offer 4G services (only broadband) in a few circles (Bengaluru, Pune, and Kolkata).

If the rumours of Xolo LT900 turn true, one can expect the company to tie-up with Reliance to launch the new 4G phone next month.

Xolo is also expected to launch a budget Android powered dual-core smartphone called A500L in India soon. The new phone has already been put up on the company's official product portfolio page.
