Xolo, a subsidiary of Lava International, has unveiled a new tablet called Xolo Tab, in India.
The new tablet sports an 8.0-inch IPS HD (768x1024p) screen with display density close to 160 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS with 1GB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB) and boasts voice calling feature.
Xolo Tab packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor paired with Adreno 203 graphics engine powered by 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery. It also boasts off a 2.0-megapixel camera on the rear side and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) snapper on the front.
The company is reportedly selling the new device for ₹13,499. However, details regarding its date of availability in the market are still under wraps.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Xolo had launched a feature-rich 5.0-inch smartphone, Q1000S, for ₹18,999. It features an HD display, quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and a 13.0-megapixel camera.
