Indigenous smartphone maker, Xolo has reportedly launched a new mid-range handset dubbed as Q700S in India via online stores.
The new Xolo phone has been made available at e-Bay India and Saholic for sub-₹10,000 price. It sports 4.5-inch IPS LCD screen with 854x480p resolutions and runs on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
Inside, it houses a 1.3GHz MediaTek Quad-core CPU, Mali-400 MP2, 1GB RAM, 4GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB), 8.0-megapixel camera(with LED flash), 0.3-megapixel (VGA) camera and a 1800 mAh Li-Ion battery. On connectivity front, it boasts of 3G connectivity, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth v4.0 (with A2DP), Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and A-GPS for navigation.
With the launch, Xolo Q700S will be up against Nokia Lumia 520, Lenovo Idea phone A706, Micromax Canvas Lite A92, Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 and many other budget handsets.
Over the last few weeks, Xolo has launched two high-end handsets - one LT900 (India's first indigenous 4G phone) and a phablet Q3000 for competitive prices giving stiff competition to dominant local players like Micromax and Karbonn Mobiles.
