Earlier in the week, American firm Motorola launched a feature-rich smartphone Moto G in India. Now a local vendor, Xolo has announced a similar handset for same price-range, intensifying the battle among MNC and domestic players vying for the lucrative mid-range segment.
Xolo's new Q1100 sports a 5.0-inch HD (1280x720p) IPS screen with OGS (One Glass Solution) technology and ships with the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, it packs 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 series CPU, 405MHz Adreno 305, 1GB RAM, 8GB (expandable up to 32GB), 8.0-megapixel camera (BSI sensor 2, flash support, HDR and more), 2.0-megapixel snapper on the front and a 2000 mAh battery.
According to official website, Xolo Q1100 will cost ₹14,999, however, the company is still yet to reveal its release date.
Apart from Motorola Moto G, it will be competing with local rivals like Micromax Canvas Turbo Mini, Lava Iris Pro 30, Karbonn Titanium S5 Plus and more.
