Lava International subsidiary Xolo has launched a new smartphone, Cube 5.0, in India.
The new Xolo Cube 5.0 features an HD IPS screen and it comes incorporated with 1.3GHz Mediatek quad-core processor backed by 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory, a 2100 mAh battery that can run the handset for close to 600 hours under standby time.
It also houses a decent 8mp camera on the back capable to record full HD video, 2mp snapper on the front side, enough to get a decent selfie. On the connectivity front, it features Dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi and other standard sensors.
Xolo Cube 5.0 India price details:
The company has confirmed that the new Xolo Cube 5.0 will come in black, white and gold variants at ₹7,999.
Competition:
Though Xolo Cube 5.0 boasts decent specifications, its ₹7,999 price tag is a tad steep compared to its rival brands like YU Yuphoria, Lenovo A6000 Plus and Xiaomi Redmi 2 that feature more superior features and fall in the same price range. So it will be hard for Xolo to convince the budget-conscious Indian consumers, who are spoilt for choices in the sub-₹8,000 price range.
