Xolo, a subsidiary of Lava Mobiles, is reportedly prepping to launch the A500+ smartphone with Jelly Bean OS next month. The speculated handset is the successor of A500 which was released in late January.
Technology website Android Nova has revealed that Xolo A500+ would sport a 4.0-inch WVGA screen with 800x480p resolution and pixel density close to 223 ppi (pixels per inch). It is expected to run on the dual-core MediaTek processor.
The report also claimed that the Xolo smartphone would run on the v4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS and will be upgraded to the Android v4.2 OS little later.
The new Xolo A500+ is speculated to hit Indian stores in June with price-tag of ₹6,499.
The previous Xolo A500 model too sported the same 4.0-inch display and a dual-core processor. The main difference would be that the new smartphone may pack a MediaTek Chipset instead of the Qualcomm processor in the predecessor. Xolo A500 is currently priced ₹6,499 at online store Flipkart.
The company had just launched two big-screen affordable smartphones Xolo - Q700 and X910 - last week.
