Xiaomi has two budget smartphones that are selling like hot cupcakes in India. The Redmi Y2 and the ultra-affordable Redmi 5A went on sale on Monday, but buyers had a small window to place their orders and as of this writing both phones remain out of stock.
As disappointing as it may be for potential buyers, there's hope as both phones will be available once again sooner than anticipated. Depending on which smartphone you prefer, the Redmi Y2 or the Redmi 5A, buyers must watch Xiaomi's exclusive online sales partners Amazon.in and Flipkart for the next sale update.
Here's all the information you will need to prepare for the next sale of Xiaomi's two budget smartphones in India.
Xiaomi Redmi Y2 is exclusively available on Amazon.in. While the smartphone was available on Mi.com on Monday before it went out of stock, interested buyers can head over to Amazon.in on Tuesday and place their orders.
The Redmi Y2 flash sale on Amazon India will commence at 12 noon on Tuesday, which means buyers must stay alert and login to their Amazon accounts well in advance. There is an attractive offer to go with the Redmi Y2 for Airtel users, which gives Rs 1,800 instant cashback, and up to 240GB free data.
For a smartphone that's priced at Rs 9,999 for 3GB+32GB model and Rs 12,999 for 4GB+64GB configuration, it's an attractive bid. But if the Redmi Y2 exceeds your budget, Xiaomi has the Redmi 5A to suit your needs.
Xiaomi Redmi 5A was available on Flipkart on Monday, but the sale didn't last long and it currently remains out of stock. But Xiaomi's official online store, Mi.com, is going to host a sale for the Redmi 5A and it is scheduled for 12 noon on Thursday, August 2.
The Redmi 5A comes in two variants – 2GB+16GB and 3GB+32GB – priced at Rs 5,999 and Rs 6,999. This ultra-affordable smartphone is a perfect bid for those who cannot spend too much on a smartphone and still be able to enjoy decent specifications.
