In the last couple of weeks, we got to know almost all the hardware details of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Pro (aka Redmi Note 4). Now, the price of the device has surfaced online and is touted to be the most expensive Redmi Note series yet.
A Chinese tipster (via Weibo) has claimed the Xiaomi's Redmi Pro will come in two variants - one generic model and another high-end with price-tags--- ¥1,299 (around $194/€177/Rs. 13,035) and ¥1,399 (around $209/€190/Rs. 14,038), respectively.
This is the first time we are hearing that there will two Redmi Pro variants, but this is not surprising at all, since the company is known to launch multiple models to allow consumers to choose a device based on their budget. However, there is no clarity what individuates the two models. But, if we were to opine, RAM and inbuilt storage capacity are most likely to be the key differentiating factors.
That being said, the leaked price of the base model is a bit expensive compared to previous models. The Redmi Note 3 series price started with Rs. 9,999 (Â¥9,997).
The increase in the starting price of Redmi Pro can be attributed to the use of high-grade metal on the cover and high-end camera hardware. Recently released teaser images have shown the device boasting anodized alloy body with dual-camera module on the back.
Furthermore, Redmi Pro's camera is said to boast Bokeh-effect feature like we see in DSLR snappers.
