The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G users must be eagerly waiting for Android 5.0 Lollipop update but it looks like it is not coming anytime soon. Now, it is reported that the device is getting the MIUI V6.3.5.0 update instead.
The MIUI V6.3.5.0 update is being rolled out to Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G in India and Taiwan, according to The Next Digit.
The new firmware update will fix many issues like camera, music playback, and enhance the performance of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G.
It may be mentioned that there was report of the Xiaomi Redmi 1s getting MIUI 6 update. A report by Gizmo China (via GSM Arena) claimed that the MIUI 6 beta system version would be available for download and installation last weekend and that more devices would get in the next few weeks.
Unveiled and released in August 2014, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G comes with MIUI 5.0, which reportedly has many issues with the device. The Note 4G sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels (267 ppi pixel density), powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The device also houses a 13MP main camera and 5MP front snapper, comes packed with 8 GB internal memory, 2 GB RAM and microSD up to 64 GB, and li-Po 3100 mAh battery.
