Xiaomi's e-commerce affiliate Flipkart is all set to kick off the Redmi Note 4G flash sale on 3 February.
The online shop's flash sale will go live at 2pm on Tuesday. However, the company is yet to announce details regarding how many units will be up for grabs tomorrow.
That being said, Redmi 1S' registration has been paused and will not be sold on Tuesday. Neither Xiaomi nor Flipkart have released a statement on Redmi 1S' future sales in India.
Has Xiaomi decided to discontinue Redmi 1S sale or will it return next week in India?
Our logical intuition is that Xiaomi might have permanently ended the sale of Redmi 1S as the company has just launched the new second-generation model last month in China and probably debut Redmi 2 in India soon.

This makes sense because rivals Micromax and Lenovo have launched 64-bit class CPU-powered feature-rich YU Yureka and A6000 under ₹9,000. This apparently makes first generation Redmi 1S a bit sub-par.
Tech savvy buyers don't mind shelling a few thousand bucks more for future-proof 64-bit class chipset based phones. Even Motorola is expected to launch a similar budget handset soon.
We believe Redmi 1S has run its course in the Indian market. The subcontinent market is very dynamic and evolving at a very fast pace and the time looks prime for Redmi 2 to set foot in India.
Coming back to Redmi Note 4G, prospective buyers are required to get registered on Flipkart [HERE] to become eligible to buy the device. Customers can still apply for registration as it will be open till 11:59pm on Monday, 2 February.
