As expected, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G flash sale received an overwhelming response on Tuesday (30 December) on Flipkart. The company confirmed the feat on the official Facebook page announcing that all 40,000 Redmi Note 4G units were sold out within 6 seconds!
Xiaomi, in a bid to cheer Indian fans ahead of the New Year, announced that the feature-rich smartphone Redmi 1S will once again be put on flash sale along with Redmi Note 4G next week on 6 January, 2015.
Last week, there was some apprehension among fans when the company announced flash sale details only for Redmi Note 4G, not for Redmi 1S. Many assumed that the feature-rich phone might have been discontinued like Mi3. However, today's announcement is sure to bring smile back on the faces of Xiaomi fans who are yet to get their hands on Redmi 1S.
Note: Prospective consumers are advised to get registered for the 6 January flash sale on Flipkart (HERE). The registration window will be open from 30 December 6pm to 5 January midnight (23:59 pm).
