Xiaomi's long rumoured Redmi 4 is expected break covers next month to mark the anniversary of the first Redmi series phone that hit stores in August 2013.
In a bid to evoke excitement among fans, Xiaomi has posted a teaser featuring a never-seen-before phone on Weibo. In the image (via My Drivers blog), the device is shown to have a brushed metal-based shell with two cameras, placed one above the other with dual-tone LED flash between them.
There is no mention of the device's moniker, but the design language of the phone is strikingly similar to the unreleased Redmi Note 4 model, which Gizmo China claims to have it in their possession.
So far, Xiaomi has not made any official comment on the Redmi Note 4 rumours. We just have to wait for few more weeks to really know what the company has in store for fans.
Xiaomi Redmi 4: What we know so far
Numerous reports have indicated that the Redmi Note 4 will hold on the 5.5-inch full HD screen, as seen in its predecessor, but will have sturdier metal body and powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core backed by 4GB RAM.
Other key features such as camera and battery capacity is yet to be ascertained.
