Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is one of the most popular devices of 2016 in China and India, so all eyes are on its successor, the Redmi Note 4. The upcoming device is expected to have several feature upgrades over its predecessor.
It is reported that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be launched in August but the Chinese technology giant is yet to officially announce the release date.
There are conflicting reports on the screen size of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 with some claiming that it will sport a 5.5-inch display, which is seen in its predecessor Xiaomi Mi Note 3. However, a Weibo user by the name Said Yang Feng Technology (via GizmoChina) has claimed that the handset will be "oversized", giving a clear hint that it will be bigger that the previous Note device.
Chinese website MyDrivers reported that the Redmi Note 4 will be powered by a Helio X20 deca-core SoC by MediaTek, while other reports claimed that it will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor.
It is also reported that the Redmi Note 4 will be come packed with a 16GB internal memory and a 3GB RAM, mounts a 13MP main camera, and house a battery with fast charge technology.
On the other hand, the Redmi Note 3 features a 16/32GB internal storage (expandable up to 256GB), a 2/3GB RAM, a 16MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash, a 5MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture, and a 4,000mAh battery (without fast charge technology).
