Xiaomi is seen setting new benchmarks with its smartphones and the company is planning to expand its portfolio with a new device soon. The company's CEO Lei Jun already confirmed that a new premium smartphone Redmi Pro, also referred to as Redmi Note 4 in some reports, will be launched in China on July 27. Some details about the handset were confirmed such as a MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core processor, but most details are still a mystery.

As the anticipation for the Redmi Pro grows, some photos of the handset along with its retail packaging were leaked on Weibo on Friday, giving us an early look at the device. The leaked photos of the device show that the Redmi Pro will come with dual cameras with an LED light separating the two cameras, which is quite odd.

But there may not be any reason for disappointment as a Weibo user had shared a couple of images reportedly shot on the Redmi Pro and the results were breathtaking. As per the leaked photos on Friday, Redmi Pro is expected to come with a feature that produces Bokeh effect-like impression, usually found in photos shot using DSLR cameras.

The latest photos of the Redmi Pro leaked on Weibo also shows the front design of the device. The handset features a physical home button, which is likely to have an integrated fingerprint scanner. According to GSMArena, the Redmi Pro will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8. The leaked photos of the device also show a metallic brushed finish on the rear with a full metal uni-body.

The Redmi Pro's launch is less than a week away and all the rumours will be put to rest once Xiaomi unveils the flagship Redmi smartphone. Rumours are rife with details about the phone, which suggest a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and a 4,100mAh battery.

Xiaomi is hosting the Redmi Pro launch event in National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing next Wednesday. Watch this space for more updates.
