Xiaomi has released yet another budget smartphone, the Redmi Note 4. It is the successor of the Redmi Note 3 that did exceptionally well in Chinese and Indian markets a few months ago. The company is yet to reveal if it will be released in India, but it is very likely to after the success of its predecessor.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a metal body, sports 5.5-inch full HD display with 1,080x1920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density), powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 processor, and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based MIUI 8.0 operating system. It features a 16/64GB internal memory expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card, a 2/3GB RAM, a 13MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and dual-tone LED flash, and a 5MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide angle view of field, and a 4,100mAh battery.
The device comes in two variants – one with 16GB storage+2GB RAM priced at 899 Yuan (around Rs. 9,050), and the other with 64GB storage+3GB RAM priced at 1199 Yuan (around Rs.12,100). Its pricing in Indian is not known yet but it appears like it will take on devices like the Lenovo K4 Note (Rs. 9,999), Redmi Note 3 (Rs. 9,999), Meizu M3 Note (Rs. 9,999), LeEco Le 2 (Rs. 11,999) and others in Indian market.
