Xiaomi is once again hosting a flash sale for its popular Redmi Note 3, Mi 5 smartphones and a 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank in India on Wednesday, April 20, offering another chance for buyers to purchase their preferred devices online. The sale, which commences at 2 p.m. exclusively on Mi.com, will allow only registered buyers to participate and order the devices.
Xiaomi's Redmi Note 3, which is currently under review by International Business Times, India, has proved to be a popular choice for budget smartphone shoppers. The device would be put on its seventh consecutive flash sale this Wednesday. However, the company's flagship, Mi 5 smartphone, will be available for the third time in India.
Registrations for Wednesday's sale are open as of this writing, and the process is mandatory to get eligible to purchase the device online. The Redmi Note 3 will be available in both 16GB and 32GB storage options and the Mi 5 will come in 32GB storage and 3GB RAM configuration. The Mi Power Bank with 20,000mAh capacity will also be available in the flash sale model on Wednesday for Rs. 1,699.
Xiaomi Mi 5 is priced at Rs. 24,999 while the Redmi Note 3 will be available for Rs. 9,999 for 16GB/2GB configuration and Rs. 11,999 for 32GB/3GB combination. The Redmi Note 3 will be available in gold, dark grey and silver colours while the Mi 5 will come only in white.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 will be separately available on Amazon India store on the same day in its weekly flash sale. The sale begins at 2 p.m. on Amazon.in, at the same time it goes live on Mi.com, so users can choose either sales channel to book their device. Xiaomi Mi 5 is exclusive to Mi.com.
The Redmi Note 3 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a uni-body design, 16MP primary camera, 5MP front snapper and a 4000mAh battery. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB storage.
As for the flagship Mi 5 smartphone, the handset sports a 5.15-inch Full HD display, 16MP primary camera, 4MP front camera and a 3000mAh Quick Charge battery. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU, 3GB RAM and has 32GB onboard storage. Both smartphones support 4G LTE, dual SIM cards, VoLTE and run on Android-based MIUI 7.
The Mi Power Bank has two USB ports and it can charge a Mi 5 to full six times. It can also be used to charge the new MacBook with USB Type-C port support. The power bank is equipped with rapid charging feature to fully charge itself in seven hours.
