Xiaomi is not inclined to make its Redmi Note 3 available in India through an open sale yet despite being put up on flash sales for six times now. Flash sale 7 for the device will start at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 will be available on Amazon India and Xiaomi official website. Registration for this week's flash sale began on the websites soon after sales window was closed last Wednesday.
Tips to buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 3
- Make sure that you get registration done on Amazon India and Mi website before the sales window opens on Wednesday. Those who failed to buy the device in the previous flash sales have to register again if they want to participate.
- Log in to the websites before 2 p.m. Such sales usually get over in a few seconds.
- Complete the order within 15 minutes to avoid the device being made available to customers in waitlist. You have to add the device to the chart within three minutes and check out within 15 minutes.
- Refresh the page frequently if you are in waitlist till sale is closed. Place an order if an alert on availability pops up. Make sure that you complete the order in 15 minutes.
The Redmi Note 3 comes in two models – a 16GB internal memory with 2GB RAM with a price tag of Rs. 9,999 (around $137), and a 32GB internal storage with 3GB RAM priced at Rs 11,999 (around $168).
The device has a metal uni-body and available in three colours -- gold, silver and dark grey. It sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (403 ppi pixel density), powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, and run an MIUI 7.0 based Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It also comes packed with a 16MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.0, and a non-removable Li-Po 4,000mAh battery.
