Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has been up for sale in India five times since it was first made available via a flash sale March 9. The device will be up for sale again at 2 p.m. Wednesday on Amazon India and Xiaomi official website.
Registration for the Redmi Note 3 flash sale 6 (excluding three sales during Mi Fan Festival April 6) has begun, and prospective buyers have to register to participate in the sale.
Tips to buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 3:
- Registration is a must to take part in flash sale. Those who failed to buy the device in the previous flash sales have to register again. Get it done on Amazon India and Mi website.
- Sales will start at 2 p.m. sharp, so make sure that you log in to the websites on time. It can go out of stocks in seconds.
- Complete the order within 15 minutes or else the device will be made available to customers in wait-list. You have to add the device to the chart within three minutes and check out within 15 minutes.
- Refresh the page frequently if you are in wait-list till sale is closed. Place an order if an alert on availability pops up. Make sure that you complete the order in 15 minutes.
The Redmi Note 3 looks good in a metal uni-body and comes in three colours -- gold, silver and dark grey. It is available in two models – a 16GB internal memory with 2GB RAM priced at Rs. 9,999 (around $137), and a 32GB internal storage with 3GB RAM at Rs 11,999 (around $168).
The budget device has impressive features. It has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (403 ppi pixel density), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, an MIUI 7.0 based Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, a 16MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.0, and a non-removable Li-Po 4,000mAh battery.
