Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has completed three rounds of flash sales but nobody knows how many units have been sold. Unlike in the past, Chinese smartphone makers are not willing to reveal the numbers for reason best known to them. The device will be available again next week via a flash sale.
The Redmi Note 3 was available via flash sales March 9, March 16 and March 23. Reports claimed that the device was "sold out" in a few seconds on all the occasions. Registration for the next flash sale has begun even as we wait for the company to reveal the figures of last three sales.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 flash sale 4 will start at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30. Those who failed to buy the device in the previous occasions and want to try again should remember that they have to register again. Registration has already begun and it can be done at Amazon India and Xiaomi official website.
The device was unveiled in India earlier this month before being made available to the public via flash sale on March 9 exclusively on Amazon and Xiaomi website. It comes in two models, with the one packing a 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM priced at Rs. 9,999 (around $137) and the other with a 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM comes with a price tag of Rs 11,999 (around $168).
It sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (403 ppi pixel density) and comes in three colours -- gold, silver and dark grey. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, an MIUI 7.0 based Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, a 16MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.0, and a non-removable Li-Po 4,000mAh battery.
