Xiaomi's popular device, the Redmi Note 3, has an excellent battery life besides impressive specifications for its price. Its battery is stronger than those seen in several flagship devices currently available in the market. It scores more than devices like the Meizu M3 Note, Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016), Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016), iPhone 6s, Honor 5X, Samsung Galaxy S7, and Google Nexus 5X.
According to battery testing done by PhoneArena, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a battery life of 12 hours and 36 minutes, compared to Meizu M3 Note (11h 6 min), Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) (10h 59 min), Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) (8h 41 min), iPhone 6s (8h 15 min), Honor 5X (6h 54 min), Samsung Galaxy S7 (6h 37 min), and Google Nexus 5X (6h 25 min).
The test was conducted with the mobile phone screen kept in "always on" mode and display set at 200 nits of brightness.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (403 ppi pixel density). It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, an Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, a 16GB/32GB internal storage (no microSD card slot), a 3GB RAM, a 16MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, and a 5MP secondary camera.
On the other hand, the Meizu M3 Note has a 4,100mAh battery, while the Galaxy J7 (2016) has a 3,300mAh and Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) has a 3,100mAh battery. The iPhone 6s has a 1,715mAh, Honor 5X and Samsung Galaxy S7 have 3,000mAh, and Google Nexus 5X has a 2,700 mAh battery.
