Amid speculations that Xiaomi is releasing four new Mi phones in the next few months after its product roadmap was leaked last week, more details of Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro aka Xiaomi H3Y, including specifications have surfaced online.
Xiaomi is yet to reveal the release date of its upcoming products but its much-awaited Redmi Note 2 and Redmi Note 2 Pro are expected to see the light of day in July.
According to Upleaks (via GSM Arena), an upcoming Redmi Note series phone with project name Hermes and model number Xiaomi H3Y will come with features like FHD Display (Display size unknown), Metalic Design, powered by MediaTek MT6795 64Bit Octa-core processor, and MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0 or 5.1 Lollipop. It is also expected to come packed with 2GB RAM, and 13MP Main Camera with Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL image sensor and 5MP front snapper.
It may be recalled that a section of the media believed that Xiaomi device with model number Xiaomi H3Y was the Redmi Note 2 but the recent product roadmap of the Chinese company hinted that it the larger version Redmi Note 2 Pro, as the Redmi Note 2 bore the H3X code number.
It was earlier reported that the Xiaomi H3Y device could be unveiled on 15 April but it didn't turn true. It was also reported that the new Note device might come with a price tag of CNY 1,500 (approximately ₹15261 / $245 / €194).
