Xiaomi is all geared up for the second edition of the Redmi 2 flash sale on 31 March.
Flipkart, Xiaomi's official e-commerce partner will be hosting the flash on Tuesday 2pm. The company is yet to reveal how many units will be made available on 31 March.
Last week, the company had stocked 50,000 units, but it was sold out within 87 seconds (i.e., 1 min, 27 seconds). We believe Xiaomi is likely keep minimum 50,000 units if not more, considering that the company has substantially ramped up production line in China to satiate the demand in India.
Xiaomi is now offering popular devices Mi4, Redmi Note 4G and even the feature-rich tablet Mi Pad via open sale without any registration on Flipkart. And just few days ago, Xiaomi in collaboration with India's largest smartphone retail chain The Mobile Store began selling Redmi Note 4G and Mi4 smartphones in Delhi and is expected to cover other cities in the coming days.
