Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi is all geared to kick-start the 11th Redmi 1S flash sale in India.
Xiaomi exclusive online distributor, Flipkart will kick-start the flash sale on 18 November afternoon (at 2pm). Like last week, there will be only 65,000 units up for grabs.
However, if recent reports are to be believed, Tuesday's Redmi 1S flash sale might be the last one in India. Going by the company's reply to a fan on the Facebook wall post, Xiaomi might finally launch the eagerly awaited Redmi Note next week.
A fan going by the name, Abhishek Jain asked the company to begin Redmi Note sale after this flash sale (18 November), for which Xiaomi India replied, "Noted!" with heart-shaped symbol.
To provide further impetus to the rumours, last week (13 November to be precise), Hugo Barra, Xiaomi vice-president hinted that Redmi Note will set foot in India soon.
"Mi Indonesia: 10,000 Redmi Note out of stock in under 40 secs today! Redmi Note coming to India next," said Barra on his official Facebook page.
We believe Xiaomi might announce Redmi Note flash sale details on 18 November at the end of Redmi 1S sale on Flipkart.
As of now, the company is yet to respond to the report. Until Xiaomi clears the air over the rumours, this report will remain as pure speculations.
Now back to Xiaomi's 18 November flash sale, the registration window will be open to public till 11:59pm on Monday (17 November) at Flipkart. Even those registered users, who missed out on buying the Xiaomi phone on 11 November must have to re-apply again.
